Green Frog Art's greenEARTH cradles are made in the U.S.A. from domestic hardwoods and Arreis, a form of green MDF. The woods are harvested from naturally sustained forests and production is in a facility that recycles its own waste into energy and holds a number of third-party certifications that monitor their green manufacturing claims. The cradles contain no formaldehyde or VOCs and are finished with non-toxic, water based products that do not release chemicals into the air (no outgassing!). The shipping carton is made from recycled materials.This espresso colored, sleigh-style cradle is easily assembled. It comes fitted with two brakes which allow the cradle to easily transition from rocking to stationary. Dimensions are 36”x39” (height to top of mattress approximately 19”).
Included with each of our greenEARTH cradles is a superior quality Naturepedic® organic cradle mattress. Our firm, supportive mattress includes a waterproof organic cotton cover with a clear 100% polyethylene food-grade waterproof coating; pure, natural and chemical-free organic cotton filling; and a non-toxic, naturally derived fire barrier system that meets and exceeds all Federal and State flammability standards. What the cradle mattress doesn’t have: vinyl, pvc, phthalates, polyurethane foam, latex or wool (for allergy concerns). Dimensions are 18”x36”x1 ½”.
