Replacing traditional urea formaldehyde (UF) plywood construction with non-toxic, soy-based PureBond technology enables Columbia to eliminate any added formaldehyde from standard veneer-core and non-UF composite hardwood plywood core panels. This means the furniture or cabinets built with PureBond products will not off-gas dangerous levels of formaldehyde into your home or office like some composite wood products can. This is great news for our employees, our customers and the air we all breathe.
PureBond panels contribute to LEED® credits, are CARB P2 compliant and can be specified as FSC-certified upon request.
